Publication Ethics

RESET (Research on Education, Science, and Technology) is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in scientific publication in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties (authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers) are required to adhere to the following principles:

1. Author Responsibilities

  • Submit original manuscripts that have not been published and are not under consideration by other journals.
  • Ensure the authenticity of the work, free from plagiarism, and present data honestly.
  • Prepare references accurately in accordance with academic standards.
  • Declare any conflicts of interest (if applicable).
  • Clearly state each author's contribution.
  • Take responsibility for the integrity and scientific validity of the manuscript.

2. Editor Responsibilities

  • Carry out the selection and publication process fairly, objectively, and scientifically.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and the identities of all parties during the review process.
  • Ensure a transparent, timely, and conflict-free review process.
  • Refrain from using any information from the manuscript for personal gain.

3. Reviewer Responsibilities

  • Evaluate manuscripts objectively, fairly, and in accordance with their field of expertise.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript content and refrain from using it for personal purposes.
  • Provide timely assessments and constructive feedback.
  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest to the editor.

4. Publisher Responsibilities

  • Ensure the integrity of the editorial process and handle ethical violations professionally.
  • Comply with COPE guidelines to maintain ethical standards at every stage of publication.
