Repository Policy (Self-Archiving Policy)

JINEA: Journal of Innovation in Education and Learning supports the principles of Open Access and encourages the broad dissemination of scholarly research through academic repositories. Authors are permitted to deposit, archive, and share their published work in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal websites, and other academic platforms in accordance with the journal's copyright and licensing policy.

This policy aims to enhance the visibility, accessibility, scientific impact, and citation of articles published in JINEA: Journal of Innovation in Education and Learning while preserving the authors' copyright and ensuring proper attribution of the original publication.

Versions That May Be Archived

  • Preprint – the version of the manuscript before peer review.
  • Accepted Manuscript (Postprint) – the version after peer review and revision but before publisher formatting.
  • Version of Record (Publisher's Version) – the final published version of the article.

Permitted Repositories

  • Institutional repositories maintained by universities or research institutions.
  • Subject-specific or national repositories.
  • Authors' personal or professional websites.
  • Academic profile platforms.
  • Scholarly networking platforms that comply with applicable copyright policies.

Archiving Requirements

  • Authors must provide the complete citation for the published article in JINEA: Journal of Innovation in Education and Learning.
  • The article's DOI should be included whenever available.
  • Archived versions must clearly acknowledge the original source of publication, including the journal title and author information.
  • The archived version must preserve the scientific integrity of the published work.

Embargo Policy

JINEA: Journal of Innovation in Education and Learning does not impose an embargo period. Authors may archive eligible versions of their articles immediately upon publication.
