Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

SMARTH: Journal of Mathematics Education and Learning implements a Double-Blind Peer Review system to ensure objectivity, fairness, and academic integrity in the evaluation of submitted manuscripts. In this process, both authors’ and reviewers’ identities are concealed throughout the review stages to minimize bias and maintain impartial assessment. The system includes:

  1. Author and Reviewer Anonymity: The identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential during the entire review process.
  2. Objective Assessment: Manuscripts are evaluated solely based on scientific quality, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance.
  3. Independent Review: Reviewers assess manuscripts without access to authors’ names or institutional affiliations.
  4. Ethics and Integrity: The review process strictly adheres to publication ethics, confidentiality, and conflict-of-interest policies.
  5. Transparent Editorial Decisions: Authors receive editorial decisions supported by anonymous reviewer comments.
